I bought this game based on this recommendation, and man it’s good. It’s a slick platformer with a sharp art style and nice tunes. The kind of thing I sort of wish I could be playing all the time. You play as a radish who is also a dad and must rescue all of his children, who have run off. Sure.

All you can do in this game is walk, jump, and double jump. And that’s fine. You can’t kill enemies, you have have to avoid them (except for bosses, whom you kill with traps or the environment). There’s some light puzzling here or there, and new obstacles to negotiate are introduced at a steady pace. At the end of each stage is one of Dadish’s many children, whom he chides for running off and who usually have some whimsical excuse for being in the dangerous places they are. Very cute.

Really can’t recommend this game enough if you like platforming. It feels really nice to play and is not a great time investment. I look forward to playing the sequels.
